Water &
Earth Technologies, Inc. (WET) assisted
Ford Consulting
Engineers of Sacramento with the development of the Fort Collins
Real-time Flood Inundation Model (RTFIM). The RTFIM integrates
watershed models (SWMM) and channel models (HEC-2 and HEC-RAS) developed for
drainage studies in Fort Collins, real-time data collected by the City's
ALERT system, topographic data in GIS format, and aerial photographs and
other GIS coverages that show vulnerable property and people. The result is
a system capable of forecasting future stage and generating and displaying
maps of potentially inundated areas. |
