Water & Earth Technologies, Inc. (WET) produced a number of single-stage sediment samplers for the Minera Yanacocha in Peru.  The samplers are designed to collect a water sample from a stream at a particular stage.  Collected water samples are typically analyzed to determine the stream’s sediment concentration (total suspended solids and settleable solids) at a point on the rising limb of the runoff hydrograph.
